The City Church was established in 1996 as a new local church in Herning with a prophetic and apostolic anointing to break new territory in Denmark and in Europe.

The mandate of the City Church is to be a governing church according to the dynamics available in God and the patterns shown in the Bible.

This means:
A place connected to heaven
A base where breakthrough believers are raised
A house of sons with a global mandate
A centre with connections to an apostolic network

God called 2003 and 2004 years with "apostolic building" and it happened. At the end of 2004 God emphasized the necessity of further development and coordination in our efforts. We have been working on these issues with determination and continue, and 2005 became a year with increasing intensity and acceleration.
2006: let the acceleration go on and increase as we ”cross over” and establish ourselves in new territories.
